Ballarini cookware, engineered in Italy since 1889.
We forge every Ballarini pan from a single billet of aluminum and finish it with our Granitium mineral-reinforced nonstick — an Italian cookware system built for heat, built for daily cooking, built to last.
Forged Italian pans, sold by the piece or the set.
Every Ballarini pan below is forged from a solid block of aluminum for even heat, layered with our Granitium mineral coating, and finished in our Rivarolo Mantovano workshops. Pick a single skillet or step into a complete Modena, Parma, or Asti cookware system.

Granitium, forged aluminum, and 130 years of Rivarolo craft.
Every Ballarini cookware line is built on the same technical foundation: a forged aluminum body for even heat and a Granitium mineral-reinforced nonstick surface for release you can rely on. It’s the same italian cookware system we’ve refined at our workshops in Rivarolo Mantovano across five generations.
Granitium Mineral-Reinforced Nonstick
Our signature Granitium coating layers mineral particles into a PFOA-free nonstick surface. It releases eggs, fish, and delicate sauces the way you’d expect from a premium ballarini pan — and it stands up to the metal-adjacent tools most home cooks reach for daily. Read the full breakdown in what is Granitium coating.
Forged Aluminum Construction
Modena, Parma Plus, and select Ballarini pans are cold-forged from a single block of aluminum. Forging densifies the metal so heat spreads evenly across the entire cooking surface — no cold spots at the edge of the pan, no warping over years of daily use.
Induction-Ready Magnetic Plate
An encapsulated ferro-magnetic base makes every ballarini induction pan compatible with modern cooktops — gas, electric, ceramic, halogen, and induction. See our full induction compatibility guide for the details on each series.
Riveted Stainless with Cool-Touch Profile
Riveted stainless handles are shaped to stay balanced in the hand and cooler at the grip — designed for the long-simmer, sauté-and-toss cooking Italian recipes ask for.
Simple Daily Care, Long Working Life
Hand-wash to preserve the Granitium surface, cook on medium heat, and use silicone or wood tools. Our Ballarini pan care guide walks through the exact routine that keeps our cookware performing year after year.
How a Ballarini pan is made.
Four steps separate a raw aluminum billet from the ballarini frying pan on your stove. Each one still happens at our workshops in Rivarolo Mantovano.
Forge The Body
We cold-forge a single aluminum billet under high pressure. The metal densifies, thickens at the base, and forms the shape of the pan without seams, welds, or thin edges.
Bond The Base
A ferro-magnetic disc is bonded into the base of every induction-ready ballarini pan, giving even heat pickup on any cooktop from gas to induction.
Apply Granitium
Layers of our mineral-reinforced Granitium nonstick are sprayed and cured onto the interior — 2-layer on Asti, 3-layer on Modena — for release and abrasion resistance in the same finish.
Rivet & Inspect
Stainless handles are riveted, every pan is stress-tested and hand-inspected, then packed with the care guide before it leaves our Italian workshop.
What every Ballarini pan works with.
Ballarini cookware is designed to move between the stovetop, the oven, and the dishwasher without a special-use pan for each one. Here’s exactly what our lines are engineered for — and where each series lands on ovens, cooktops, and cleaning.
Induction Cooktops
CompatibleEvery current Ballarini line — Modena, Parma, Parma Plus, Asti, Bellamonte, and Professionale 3000 — is induction-ready thanks to the bonded ferro-magnetic base.
Gas & Electric
CompatibleAll Ballarini cookware works on gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen cooktops. Cook on medium heat for best nonstick performance and coating longevity.
Oven Use
Line-SpecificGranitium lines are oven-safe to 300°F. Bellamonte cast iron and Professionale carbon steel step up to 500°F. See our oven safety guide for details.
Dishwasher
Hand-Wash PreferredTo preserve the Granitium surface and stainless handles, we recommend hand-washing every Ballarini pan. Warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth — nothing more.
Utensils
Silicone / WoodSilicone, wood, and nylon tools keep the Granitium nonstick performing at its best. Save metal tools for the Bellamonte and Professionale ranges.
Safety Standard
PFOA-FreeEvery Ballarini Granitium surface is manufactured PFOA-free. See our full breakdown at are Ballarini pans safe.
Loved by home cooks who take pans seriously.
Ballarini cookware is chosen by home cooks and professional kitchens who care about how a pan actually behaves under heat. Here’s what customers have told us about cooking with our Modena, Parma, and Bellamonte pans.
The Modena set is my daily driver
The forged aluminum body heats evenly across the whole pan and the Granitium coating still releases eggs cleanly a year in. This is the best ballarini cookware I’ve owned.
Parma fry pan just does its job
I bought the Parma nonstick fry pan for weekday cooking. It’s light in the hand, sears well on medium, and cleans up in under a minute. Made-in-Italy quality at a fair price.
Bellamonte dutch oven is the one
The Bellamonte cast iron dutch oven has become our braising, no-knead-bread, and stew pot. Heavy in the right way, holds heat beautifully, and the enamel wipes clean.
Asti set replaced a dozen mismatched pieces
The Asti 10-piece set gave us a full Italian cookware kit in one go. Induction works perfectly and the lids fit right. Very happy with the ballarini pots and pans.

Questions we hear about Ballarini cookware.
Straight, technical answers on Granitium, induction compatibility, oven limits, safety, and care — pulled from the guidance we send with every ballarini pan.
Ballarini has been forging cookware in Rivarolo Mantovano, Italy since 1889. That’s where our forged aluminum bodies are pressed, our Granitium coatings are applied, and where every pan is finished before shipping. Learn more in where is Ballarini cookware made.
Granitium is our proprietary mineral-reinforced nonstick coating. Fine mineral particles are integrated into the nonstick matrix, giving the surface abrasion resistance while preserving true nonstick release. It’s applied in multiple layers — 2 on Asti, 3 on Modena — and manufactured PFOA-free. Full technical breakdown at what is Granitium coating.
Yes — every current Ballarini line, including Modena, Parma, Parma Plus, Asti, Bellamonte cast iron, and Professionale Series 3000 carbon steel, is induction-ready. A ferro-magnetic disc is bonded into the base of each pan, giving fast pickup on induction cooktops and even heat on gas and electric. See the induction compatibility guide.
Yes, within their rated temperatures. Granitium-coated lines (Modena, Parma, Asti) are oven-safe up to 300°F — enough for finishing frittatas or holding sauces. Our Bellamonte cast iron and Professionale carbon steel step up to 500°F for roasting and high-heat searing. Full temperature limits at are Ballarini pans oven safe.
Yes. Granitium is manufactured PFOA-free and complies with FDA and EU food-contact standards. When used at recommended temperatures (medium heat, oven within the rated limit) and cared for properly, our nonstick surface is safe for daily cooking. Full detail in are Ballarini pans safe.
We recommend hand-washing with warm water, a soft sponge, and mild dish soap. Skip the dishwasher, harsh scouring pads, and metal utensils on any Granitium surface. Silicone, wood, and nylon tools keep the coating performing for years. Full routine at Ballarini pan care guide.
Modena is our forged aluminum flagship — thickest body, 3-layer Granitium, best for daily cooking. Parma sits in the middle with forged aluminum and a robust Granitium surface. Asti is our accessible stamped-aluminum line with a 2-layer Granitium finish, ideal for a first full ballarini cookware set. Compare all three at Ballarini cookware comparison guide.
Bring a piece of Italian craft into your kitchen.
